Meet our Principal
Hi, I'm Victoria, the founder of West End Theatre Academy!
Musical theatre shaped my life. I trained at drama school in London and was lucky enough to perform in some of the West End's most iconic shows, including Les Misérables and Wicked. I started West End Theatre Academy because I believe performing offers children so much more than learning to be on stage. It teaches resilience, believing in yourself, self-confidence and self-esteem. It builds healthy friendships full of support and encouragement.
These skills are more vital now than ever before. Children today grow up surrounded by screens and the negative effects the online world can have on them; many children struggle within the restrictive school environment and lots of teenagers just haven't found their tribe.
I wanted to create an environment that recognises every child as an individual; not as a number. I strive to make every child feel seen and valued, whatever their ability, and whether or not they want to pursue performing arts beyond a hobby.
The skills we teach are hugely valuable in all areas of life: social interaction, eye contact, speaking up for themselves. My aim is for everyone to feel welcome here, and we adapt our classes and schedules so every child fits in.
I hope you will come along and try our classes - we offer a no obligation trial to anyone who would like to experience a taste of West End Theatre Academy.
